History was made at the Vodafone Arena as Fiji’s Nemaiah Elder showcased his remarkable skills at the Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships. Nemaiah not only took home the gold medal in the Youth Category but also established a new Commonwealth record in the snatch. His exceptional performance continued as he claimed gold in the Junior category and secured a silver medal in the highly competitive Senior 89KG category.
