History was achieved at the Vodafone Arena as Fiji’s Nemaiah Elder showcased his remarkable skills during the Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships. Nemaiah not only took home the gold in the Youth Category but also established a new Commonwealth record in the snatch event. His exceptional performance didn’t end there; he also won gold in the Junior category and captured a silver medal in the fiercely contested Senior 89KG category.
