Fiji’s Nawaka 7s: A Thrilling Celebration of Rugby and Community Spirit!

The Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s tournament has officially commenced today at Prince Charles Park in Nadi, marking a pivotal moment in the Fiji Bitter 7s series. This year’s event has seen a remarkable participation of 104 teams, leading organizers to extend the tournament from the usual two days to three days to accommodate the high level of interest across multiple categories.

Among the participants are 64 men’s teams, 32 teams from the under-18 to under-21 categories, and eight women’s teams, promising a dynamic showcase of talent and fierce competition. Matches kicked off at 10 AM and will run throughout the day, with finals scheduled to take place around 5:14 PM.

A total of 75 bonus points will be available for the winning men’s team, which adds an extra layer of incentive for the Viti Roofing Devo Babas team, currently ahead in the men’s series standings with 1,012.316 points. This lead follows their commendable performances in previous tournaments, including Wairiki, Labasa, Savusavu, and Tabadamu 7s.
