Fiji’s Moss Shatters Personal Best at World Championships!

Fiji swimmer Marseleima Moss achieved a remarkable milestone by setting a new personal best at the 2024 World Swimming Championships held in Budapest, Hungary. Competing in the women’s 100m freestyle, Moss finished third in her heat on Wednesday night, achieving a groundbreaking time of 1:00.48, which is three seconds faster than her previous best. This impressive performance has elevated her to the 63rd rank among swimmers globally.

Also competing was Hansel McCaig, who participated in the men’s 100m freestyle event but finished sixth in his heat with a time of 50.46 seconds, narrowly missing out on a personal best.

As the competition progresses, there is anticipation for more exciting performances, with the championship set to conclude on Sunday.
