The Crest Fiji men’s netball team has etched its name in history by triumphing at the Men’s Nations Series held in Singapore, marking their first win in an international tournament. In an exhilarating final match, Fiji rallied from behind to secure a narrow victory of 55-54 against the Australia Under-23 team. This win was particularly sweet as it came after a previous defeat of 48-60 to Australia during the pool stages.

Throughout the tournament, Fiji showed exceptional skill and determination. They kicked off the pool round with a solid 47-36 win over the England Trailblazers, followed by a convincing 57-38 victory against New Zealand. The team continued their impressive performance by overwhelming the host nation with a score of 62-27, finishing the pool phase with a dominating 82-20 win over Hong Kong. Their consistent performance led them to the semifinals where they decisively beat England 62-27, securing their spot in the final.

This victory is historic as it represents the first international tour for the Fiji men’s netball team since the 2004 International Men’s Netball Championship held in Melbourne, Australia.
