Likuliku Lagoon Resort, a luxurious couples-only retreat owned by a fully Fijian family, has once again been recognized as one of the top 20 resorts in the annual Readers’ Choice Awards by Conde Nast Traveler in Australia and the South Pacific.
Tony Whitton, the owner and managing director of Ahura Resorts, expressed pride in the resort’s accomplishments as it marks its 18th year in operation. Likuliku Lagoon Resort has received the Conde Nast Readers’ Choice award for the seventh time, reflecting their ongoing commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences, which in turn supports local Fijian families.
Brad Calder, the group general manager, emphasized that this recognition demonstrates the high quality of their offerings and their dedication to delivering on promises made to guests. He extended gratitude to the resort’s staff, management, and loyal guests for their continued support.
The Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are highly regarded in the travel industry and highlight excellence in global travel destinations. This year, over 575,000 readers from the United States contributed their travel experiences, shedding light on the places they look forward to revisiting.
In an exciting development, Likuliku Lagoon Resort has announced a $10 million revitalization plan scheduled for 2025, during which the resort will be closed for three months from February to April next year.
The results of the 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards will be featured on the Conde Nast Traveler website and celebrated in the magazine’s November issue.
