Koleta Likuculacula from Fiji has been awarded the Golden Boot in the OFC Women’s Nations Cup, which recently concluded in the Solomon Islands. The player from Ba scored a total of seven goals throughout the tournament, including two goals each against the Solomon Islands and Tahiti, as well as one goal each against Tonga and New Zealand during the group stage. She also netted Fiji’s only goal in the final match against New Zealand.
Koleta was a persistent presence on the field, creating chances and putting pressure on the opposing team. Her exceptional performance on the tournament’s opening day earned her the Player of the Match title, coinciding with her birthday celebration.
In addition, Danielle Bradley received the Golden Glove award, while Hannah Kraakman was honored with the Golden Ball.
