Koleta Likuculacula from Fiji has been awarded the Golden Boot at the OFC Women’s Nations Cup, which wrapped up yesterday in the Solomon Islands. The player from Ba scored a total of seven goals during the tournament, including two goals each against the Solomon Islands and Tahiti, as well as one against Tonga and another against New Zealand in the group stage. She also netted Fiji’s only goal in the final match against New Zealand.
Koleta proved to be a formidable presence on the field, creating numerous scoring opportunities and applying pressure on the opposing teams throughout the tournament. Her exceptional performance was recognized with the Player of the Match award on the opening day of the event, coinciding with her birthday.
In addition, Danielle Bradley received the Golden Glove award, while Hannah Kraakman was honored with the Golden Ball for her impressive contributions.
