Fiji’s Koleta Likuculacula clinched the Golden Boot award in the OFC Women’s Nations Cup, which wrapped up yesterday in the Solomon Islands. The Ba native scored seven goals throughout the tournament, featuring two goals each against the Solomon Islands and Tahiti, one goal against Tonga, and another against New Zealand during the group stage. She also netted Fiji’s sole goal in the final against New Zealand.
Koleta was a persistent threat on the field, consistently generating opportunities and applying pressure on the opposition. Her exceptional performance earned her the Player of the Match title on the opening day of the tournament, which also marked her birthday.
Additionally, Danielle Bradley received the Golden Glove award, while Hannah Kraakman was honored with the Golden Ball.
