Koleta Likuculacula from Fiji claimed the Golden Boot award at the OFC Women’s Nations Cup, which wrapped up yesterday in the Solomon Islands. The Ba native scored a total of seven goals throughout the tournament, including two goals each against the Solomon Islands and Tahiti, alongside one goal against Tonga and another against New Zealand during the group stage. In the final match against New Zealand, she netted Fiji’s sole goal.

Koleta was a relentless presence on the field, consistently creating chances and applying pressure to the opposing team. Her exceptional performance earned her the Player of the Match award on the opening day of the tournament, coinciding with her birthday.

In addition to Koleta’s achievements, other significant awards were presented, with Danielle Bradley winning the Golden Glove and Hannah Kraakman receiving the Golden Ball.
