Fiji’s HOTEC 2024: A Shaken, Stirred Competition Awaits!

The Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association (FHTA) has announced a new partnership with Finest Liquor and Triple 3 as Competition Partners for the upcoming HOTEC Tradeshow 2024. In a statement released following the signing, FHTA expressed gratitude for Finest Liquor’s involvement in the HOTEC 2024 Cocktail Competition, which is designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of mixologists, enabling them to provide exceptional cocktail experiences for both local and international guests.

FHTA Chief Executive Officer Fantasha Lockington welcomed the collaboration, noting that the expertise and dedication of the companies to quality beverages will play a crucial role in elevating the cocktail competitions, offering participants outstanding opportunities for learning and growth.

Shameer Abdul, the General Manager of Sales and Marketing at Finest Liquor and Triple 3, shared his enthusiasm about participating in HOTEC 2024 and contributing to the advancement of Fiji’s hospitality sector. He emphasized that their goal is to assist mixologists in refining their craft while showcasing the premium liqueurs, syrups, and bitters from Finest Liquor, along with innovative beverages from Triple 3. Abdul expressed anticipation for an engaging and competitive atmosphere.

The cocktail competition slated for HOTEC 2024 is expected to be a standout event, with preliminary rounds beginning in late July. This will provide mixologists from all over the country with an opportunity to showcase their skills, learn, and improve, with the competition culminating in the finals during the HOTEC Tradeshow.

Lockington reaffirmed the FHTA’s commitment to creating a platform for excellence and education at HOTEC 2024. With the involvement of Finest Liquor and Triple 3, she is confident that the competition will inspire and raise standards within the industry, benefiting participants and the broader community.
