Support for this initiative was voiced by partners including Suakane Kentaro from JICA and Michael Glees from USAID, who underlined the app’s potential to assist healthcare professionals in managing NCDs more effectively, cut down patient wait times, and elevate the quality of care provided.

The app, developed in partnership with TaiwanICDF, USAID, JICA, and several other contributors, is presently being tested in four health centers. It aims to enhance healthcare efficiency, improve patient outcomes, and ensure fair access to medical services. Key features of the app include offline accessibility, GIS-based health trend monitoring, and a user-friendly interface.

The introduction of the Sova Ni Bula app signifies a hopeful future for healthcare in Fiji, offering innovative solutions to longstanding challenges and paving the way for healthier communities across the nation.
