Chartered accountant Sikeli Tuinamuana has received a notable appointment as a member of the board of directors for Amalgamated Telecom Holdings (ATH), as announced by the company on Tuesday through the South Pacific Stock Exchange (SPX), where it is listed.

Mr. Tuinamuana has an impressive professional background, beginning his career in the mid-1980s at Price Waterhouse. He served as a partner at Ernst & Young for over 21 years before retiring at the end of 2023 and also has experience as a partner at Arthur Andersen/G Lal & Co for more than three years. Currently, he holds a partnership position at Raki Partners.

His extensive experience encompasses providing auditing and advisory services to both local and international clients across various industries, which positions him to contribute significantly to the strategic direction of ATH. His career highlights include facilitating listings on the Suva Stock Exchange, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and leading efforts for capital raising initiatives, including the preparation of prospectuses and consulting with regulatory authorities.
