The ongoing Suva Zone Two Athletics competition is proving to be a thrilling showcase of talent and determination. Currently taking place at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva, Marist Brothers High School has established a commanding lead in the boys’ division, accumulating an unofficial medal tally of 18 gold, 15 silver, and 17 bronze medals. Following closely behind is Suva Grammar School, with nine gold, seven silver, and a number of bronze medals, while Jai Narayan College sits in third place with two gold and one bronze.
On the girls’ side, Suva Grammar School is leading the pack with an impressive total of 13 gold, 11 silver, and 9 bronze medals. Just a notch below, Saint Joseph Secondary School is performing admirably with 10 gold, 10 silver, and 11 bronze medals, while Nuku Secondary School has secured two gold and two silver.
This year’s event not only highlights the remarkable skills of the student-athletes but also emphasizes the strong spirit of unity and sportsmanship among the participating schools.
