Over 200 swimmers from various parts of the country gathered at the Nadi Sports Club today for the eagerly awaited Short Course Grand Prix One. This vibrant event featured participants from seven notable clubs including Dolphins, Barracudas, Makos, Great White Sharks, Tritons, Orcas, and Seals, showcasing the strength of Fiji’s swimming community.
A notable highlight was the impressive turnout of young talent, with over 50% of competitors aged between 10 and 14. Their spirited performances not only underscored the rising popularity of swimming among Fiji’s youth but also pointed to a promising future for the sport.
