The inaugural McDonald’s Inter-District Championship is about to kick off, uniting 492 young footballers from across Fiji in a significant event. The tournament will showcase teams from nine districts, competing across four age categories: U-9, U-11, U-13, and U-15. Districts participating include Labasa, Dreketi, and Seaqaqa from the North, Rewa, Suva, and Navua from the South, and Ba, Lautoka, and Nadi from the West.
This exciting championship aims to develop young football talent nationwide and will take place at the Nasinu Muslim Primary & Secondary School Grounds in Nakasi. The event is scheduled to run from Friday, September 6, to Sunday, September 8. Filimoni Vosarogo, the Minister for Lands & Mineral Resources, will be the chief guest at the opening ceremony.
