Fiji’s Future at Stake: A New Population Policy Unveiled

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Professor Biman Prasad, recently engaged with Pio Smith, the Regional Director of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), during the High-Level Regional Consultation on Financing for Development in Asia and the Pacific in Bangkok.

In the meeting, DPM Prasad expressed gratitude for UNFPA’s assistance in the formulation of Fiji’s inaugural National Population Policy.
