Fiji’s Futsal Women Gear Up for Historic Tournament!

The Digicel Fiji Women’s Futsal team has departed for the inaugural OFC Women’s Futsal Nations Cup in the Solomon Islands. The tournament is scheduled to run from August 17 to 25, featuring five teams competing for the opportunity to represent Oceania in the first-ever FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup in the Philippines next year. Fiji will begin their tournament against Tahiti on August 17, followed by a match against Tonga on August 18. They are set to play New Zealand on August 20 and will close out the group stage against the host nation, Solomon Islands, on August 23.
