The Digicel Fiji Women’s Futsal team has returned home with pride after finishing as runners-up at the first-ever OFC Women’s Futsal Championship held in the Solomon Islands. Despite facing a tough defeat of 1-7 against New Zealand in the final match, the team received considerable acclaim for their performance throughout the competition. A highlight for Fiji was Koleta Likuculacula’s remarkable accomplishment in securing the Golden Boot Award, recognizing her as the tournament’s leading scorer.
