Residents of Koronivia and the broader Nausori area can now enjoy improved access to quality vehicle servicing thanks to the grand opening of the new Quartz Auto Services (QAS) Ram Pati Service Station. This new facility, spearheaded by brothers Ramesh Prasad JP and Ajay Prasad under Ram Pati Investments PTE LTD, marks TotalEnergies Fiji’s fourth QAS outlet, extending professional auto care beyond the capital of Suva.
During the official opening, TotalEnergies Fiji Managing Director and CEO Bhavana Samel expressed pride in this latest investment, stating that it is a joyful extension of services to more Fijians. “We are very happy to introduce this service to Fiji. This is the fourth such Quartz station, and we are pleased to bring high-quality products to the Fiji market,” Samel remarked. She emphasized the company’s aim to minimize the need for residents to travel far for reliable vehicle servicing.
The new service station is set to enhance not only the local community’s access to professional vehicle maintenance but also job opportunities, creating two new positions and adding to the existing workforce of 14. Ajay Prasad highlighted the development as a testament to the area’s economic potential. He noted, “We have so much confidence in this area. Everyone is going to access this road in the near future as it will connect Nakasi and Koronivia. We will achieve good business in the future when that happens.”
Managing Director Ramesh Prasad echoed a belief in hard work and local investment, mentioning that the project involved an investment of approximately $20,000 to $30,000 for the lube bay. He asserted that diligence is key to financial success, suggesting that one need not look overseas for opportunities but should invest time in local endeavors.
This new QAS Ram Pati Service Station is anticipated to serve as an essential resource for motorists in Koronivia, enhancing access to vehicle care while bolstering local economic confidence in one of Nausori’s rapidly developing areas. The establishment aligns with broader trends across Fiji, where investments in businesses like Pacific Energy’s service stations have showcased a commitment to job creation and community enhancement. Overall, the expansion of vehicle servicing options in Fiji reflects a promising development trajectory, promising improved accessibility and community growth.
