Fiji’s Foreign Policy Unveiled: What’s New and Next?

Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Sitiveni Rabuka announced that the Cabinet has approved Fiji’s Foreign Policy White Paper. In his statement, Rabuka highlighted that the white paper outlines Fiji’s Foreign Policy priorities in several key areas, including Sovereignty, Identity and Values; Security; Transnational Security; Climate Change; Bilateral Relationships, particularly with major powers; Prosperity; Foreign Policy and Development Assistance; and the Implementation of Foreign Policy. The Prime Minister emphasized that the creation of this white paper involved a comprehensive government process aimed at steering Fiji’s international relations moving forward.
