The eagerly awaited 2024 Cecil’s National Regional Club Championship is set to commence tomorrow at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori, marking the beginning of one of Fiji’s leading grassroots football tournaments. Football enthusiasts can look forward to an exhilarating opening day featuring four exciting matchups.

Kicking off the day at 9 AM, local teams Buiduna FC from Tailevu Naitasiri will take on Nakasi Police FC from Rewa in what is expected to be a fierce contest. Following that, at 11 AM, Friends FC from Nasinu will face off against Northpole FC from Labasa. The afternoon continues with a match at 1 PM where Flying Arrows FC from Ba will compete against Blues FC from Nadi. The day will conclude with the final match at 3 PM, where Rival FC from Lautoka will go up against Downtown FC from Nadroga.

The tournament will proceed to the Fiji FA Academy Grounds in Vatuwaqa from December 6-8, offering additional opportunities for fans to witness thrilling football action.

Other notable matches scheduled include Blues FC vs. Friends FC, Flying Arrow FC vs. Northpole FC, and various others showcasing the talent and passion within Fijian football.
