Fiji Water Flying Fijians captain Tevita Ikanivere expressed a strong sense of confidence as the team prepares for the Pacific Nations Cup Final against Japan. He credited the team’s optimism to their extensive preparation and training over the past week.
“I think the boys are feeling confident going into tomorrow’s game, confidence that comes from knowing we have done the work during the week,” said Ikanivere.
He emphasized the need for the team to remain focused and effectively implement their strategies. “We have received the message, we know what to do; we just need to come and execute tomorrow,” he stated.
The eagerly awaited final between Fiji and Japan is scheduled to kick off at 10:07 PM on Saturday night.
