Fiji 7s representative and Silver Medalist Ponipate Loganimasi has been included in the final 23-member Flying Fijians squad for the Pacific Nations Cup final against Japan.

The team will be captained by Tevita Ikanivere, who plays hooker, with Eroni Mawi at loosehead prop and Samuela Tawake at tighthead. The lock pairing of Isoa Nasilasila and Temo Mayanavanua is expected to provide solidity in the forward pack, while flankers Ratu Meli Derenalagi and Kitione Salawa will bring both speed and strength to the side.

In the backline, Frank Lomani and Caleb Muntz are set to direct play from halfback and flyhalf positions. The wings will be manned by rapid players Ilaisa Droasese and Vuate Karawalevu, with Inia Tabuavou and Iosefo Masi forming a strong center combination. Elia Canakaivata will provide leadership at number eight.

Isaiah Armstrong Ravula will take on the role of fullback, focused on generating attacking plays.

Alongside Loganimasi, the bench includes Mesulame Dolokoto, Hereti Hetet, Meli Tuni, Mesake Vocevoce, Albert Tuisue, Peni Matawalu, and Apisalome Vota.
