Fiji Water Flying Fijians captain Tevita Ikanivere expressed the team’s confidence ahead of the Pacific Nations Cup Final against Japan, crediting their morale to extensive preparation and training conducted throughout the week.
“I think the boys are feeling confident going into tomorrow’s game, confidence that comes through knowing that we have done the work in the week,” Ikanivere stated.
He emphasized the necessity of maintaining focus and effectively implementing their game strategies. “We have got the message, we know what to do, we just need to come tomorrow and execute,” he added.
The eagerly anticipated final match between Fiji and Japan is scheduled to start at 10:07 PM on Saturday night.
