The Vodafone Fijiana XVs faced a significant defeat, losing 59-15 to Scotland in their opening test match this morning at the Hive Stadium in Edinburgh.

Scotland showcased their dominance by scoring nine tries, while Fiji could only manage three unconverted tries. By halftime, Scotland had established a strong lead of 28-10, having scored four converted tries, while Fiji managed two.

In the second half, Fiji scored just one additional unconverted try, as Scotland continued to pull ahead, adding 31 points to their tally for a decisive victory.

Looking ahead, the Fijiana are set to focus on their next test match against the Netherlands scheduled for next week, followed by their involvement in the WXV3 tournament. The match against the Netherlands will kick off at 5:30 am on Friday.
