Jonetani Tonawai, the chief executive officer of the Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation (FCEF), has announced his resignation to pursue new opportunities. Tonawai, who has held the position since July of the previous year, expressed gratitude for his time at FCEF, describing it as a productive experience that enhanced his understanding of the private sector’s needs.
Vinay Narsey, the chairperson of FCEF, voiced appreciation for Tonawai’s commitment and expressed full support for his decision, wishing him success in future endeavors. After one year in the role, Tonawai intends to focus on his passion for training and development, along with other personal business interests.
FCEF is committed to continuing its mission of representing the interests of businesses throughout Fiji and fostering a supportive business environment while beginning the process of finding a successor for Tonawai.
