Twelve entrepreneurs celebrated their graduation from the Fiji Enterprise Engine (FEE) program in Suva on Wednesday, marking a significant milestone for the initiative. This event represents the sixth cohort of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to complete this private sector-led business accelerator program.
The Chief Guest, Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources Filimoni Vosarogo, praised the graduates for their resilience, determination, and passion for entrepreneurial learning. He emphasized that the successful completion of the program opens up countless opportunities for the MSMEs involved.
Edward Bernard, the CEO of the Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation (FCEF), commended the business owners for their commitment throughout the six-month program. He noted that the initiative equipped them with essential tools and knowledge to bolster their entrepreneurial skills and accelerate their business growth.
This cohort pioneered the Entrepreneurial Business System in collaboration with Hummingbird over three months, which Mr. Bernard described as a notable success, being the first to implement this initiative. With the latest graduates, the FEE program has now positively impacted a total of 88 businesses, signifying its vital role in fostering entrepreneurship in Fiji.
The FEE program, supported by FCEF, continues to pave the way for the growth and development of MSMEs in the region, projecting a promising future for local entrepreneurs. This initiative highlights the commitment to nurturing a vibrant business ecosystem in Fiji, fostering resilience and innovation in the face of economic challenges.
Overall, this graduation not only celebrates individual achievements but also reflects a collective step forward in strengthening the business landscape in Fiji, encouraging others to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.
