Twelve entrepreneurs proudly graduated from the Fiji Enterprise Engine (FEE) program during a ceremony in Suva on Wednesday. This marks the sixth group of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to complete this innovative business accelerator program, designed to empower private sector growth.

Filimoni Vosarogo, the Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources, was the chief guest at the event and emphasized the significance of the FEE program. He noted that the journey of the participants underscored the resilience, determination, and passion necessary for both entrepreneurial learning and making impactful contributions to the economy.

Edward Bernard, CEO of the Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation (FCEF), commended the MSME owners for their commitment to the six-month program, which provided them with essential knowledge and tools to enhance their entrepreneurial skills and propel their businesses forward. He highlighted that this particular cohort successfully piloted the Entrepreneurial Business System alongside the Hummingbird initiative, making them trailblazers in this collaborative effort.

With the graduation of this latest cohort, the FEE program has now supported the growth of 88 businesses, marking a significant milestone in the initiative’s mission to foster entrepreneurship in Fiji. The program continues to be backed by the FCEF, reflecting a strong commitment to nurturing the local business landscape.

This graduation not only signifies a personal achievement for the graduates but also represents a bright future for entrepreneurship in Fiji. As these business owners step into the market with new knowledge and skills, they are poised to explore endless opportunities that contribute positively to the local economy and community development.

In summary, the graduation of these twelve business owners is a promising step towards enhancing Fiji’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, paving the way for sustained growth and innovation in the region.
