The Ministry of Education in Fiji has reported an increase in the pass rate for the Fiji Eighth Year Examination (FEYE) for 2024, achieving a 69% pass rate, up from 67% in 2023. Minister for Education, Aseri Radrodro, announced that the provisional results will be made available on November 22, 2024.

These provisional results will be open for review for 30 days, during which students can request a mark recount at a cost of $5 per subject or a remark for $25 per subject. This initiative allows students the opportunity to ensure their results accurately reflect their performance.

This year, a total of 18,968 students participated in the examination, which took place across 712 centers. The results can be accessed online by each student using their unique examination identification number along with their personal credentials at www.examresults.gov.fj.

With the increase in the pass rate, this could signal a positive trend in student performance and educational standards in Fiji, illustrating the ongoing commitment towards improving education outcomes in the nation.

This year’s results not only reflect the hard work of the students but also the feedback and support systems in place to assist them in their educational journey.
