The Ministry of Education has announced a 69 percent pass rate for the Fiji Eighth Year Exams this year, an improvement from last year’s 67 percent. This increase reflects the hard work and dedication of students and educators alike.
A total of 18,968 students participated in the exams across 712 centers, and the results are provisional for 30 days. During this period, students have the option to request a mark recount for a fee of $5 per subject or a remark for $25 per subject.
Students can access their results online at www.examresults.gov.fj using their unique examination identification number and personal credentials. If they face challenges accessing their online results, they can visit their schools or the District Education Office starting tomorrow at 8 am.
Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro expressed his congratulations and gratitude to students, parents, guardians, teachers, school management committees, ancillary staff, and other stakeholders for their hard work and support throughout the academic year.
Overall, the increase in the pass rate is a positive sign of progress in education in Fiji, highlighting the collective efforts of the community in nurturing student success. This focus on improvement bodes well for future academic years and the continuous development of educational standards.
