Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka today oversaw the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Lautoka Seventh Day Adventist High School, a significant advancement for Fiji’s education system. The new school is set to open in 2026, expanding educational opportunities for children in the area.

He noted that religious institutions have substantially contributed to education in Fiji, managing approximately 95% of the country’s schools.

Currently, the SDA Church operates three high schools and twelve primary schools in Fiji, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to improving education in the region.
