A high-pressure system situated to the southwest of Fiji is causing a fresh to strong southeast wind flow throughout the region. Expect southeast winds with average speeds reaching up to 45 km/h in the Lau and Lomaiviti groups, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Kadavu and its neighboring islands, Yasawa, Rakiraki, southern Bua, and eastern Macuata. Other areas can expect moderate to fresh southeast winds, with gusts at times. The seas are predicted to be rough.
