Suva Lawyer and Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Barbara Malimali, has been appointed as the new Commissioner of the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC).
FICAC has officially confirmed her appointment. Additionally, it has been reported that a search warrant was executed against Malimali, leading to a search at the Electoral Commission’s Office in Suva. The reasons for this search have not been disclosed by FICAC.
