Fiji has achieved its first win at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Sub-Regional A Pacific tournament in Samoa, bouncing back after two initial losses. The team recorded a remarkable 104-run victory against the previously undefeated Cook Islands, reshuffling the standings and leaving the competition for the top spot wide open.

Apete Sokovagone stood out in the match, scoring 62 runs off 37 balls and earning the Man of the Match title. Captain Peni Vuniwaqa contributed significantly with 30 runs from 15 balls, helping to establish a strong total for Fiji. The youngest member of the team, 17-year-old Joeli Moala, also shone by taking 2 wickets for just 9 runs.
