The Fiji Water Flying Fijians secured a remarkable victory against Spain in their latest test match. After trailing at halftime with a score of 19-7, the team made a stunning comeback in the second half, scoring four tries to clinch the match with a final score of 33-19.

Key players stepped up for Fiji, with Sireli Maqala scoring first in the 54th minute, followed by tries from Sam Matavesi (59th minute), Waisea Nayacalevu (63rd minute), and debutant Setareki Turagacoke, who marked his entry with a try at the 69th minute. The 18-year-old Turagacoke, who plays as a lock forward, was called up to the team in place of the injured Isoa Nasilasila from the previous week’s game against Wales. Turagacoke currently represents Stade Français Club in France, having joined the team last year.

Looking ahead, Fiji will prepare to face Ireland in their next test match this weekend, presenting another opportunity for the team to showcase its talent and determination.

This victory not only boosts Fiji’s confidence but also highlights the strength of its younger players like Turagacoke. As they gear up for the upcoming match against Ireland, fans and supporters are hopeful that the team will continue to build on this momentum for future successes.
