Cane growers in Fiji will soon enjoy significant savings on essential items at Vinod Patel outlets thanks to a new partnership with the Sugar Cane Growers Fund (SCGF) as part of a loyalty program. This initiative enables cane farmers to purchase various goods and services at reduced prices — a win-win facilitated by agreements between SCGF and multiple partner organizations.
Raj Sharma, the CEO of SCGF, shared his enthusiasm about Vinod Patel joining over ten partner organizations in this loyalty program. He highlighted the company’s strong presence in sugar cane farming areas, making them an optimal partner. “We are very pleased that Vinod Patel will offer discounts ranging from three percent to ten percent, which is excellent news for hardware purchases,” Mr. Sharma stated. This collaboration not only delivers attractive discounts but also features an integrated system that automatically applies savings at checkout based on the farmers’ profiles.
The loyalty program has already registered over 1,128 growers and is on track to attract approximately 1,500 members in the near future. This surge in participation demonstrates the strong interest and engagement from farmers over the past quarter, approaching the program’s initial membership targets.
