A total of 249 applications have been submitted for the 15 categories at this year’s Prime Minister’s International Business Awards (PMIBA), hosted by Investment Fiji. The event is anticipated to draw over 700 delegates tomorrow evening at the Sheraton Fiji Golf and Beach Resort in Denarau.
Kamal Chetty, CEO of Investment Fiji, expressed excitement over the significant interest in this year’s PMIBA, highlighting that the record attendance underscores the event’s growing significance in the business community and the increasing global recognition of Fijian enterprises.

This year’s PMIBA also introduces four new categories: the Employer of the Year Award, the Excellence in Fisheries Award, the Excellence in Forestry Award, and the Excellence in Yasana (Provincial) Aspiration Award, expanding the total to 15 categories in celebration of diverse contributions to sustainability and innovation in business.
