The PMIBA serves as a vital platform for celebrating the achievements of Fiji’s leading businesses, with the aim of inspiring future generations of entrepreneurs. Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka emphasized that the awards honor those who have embraced challenges and actively contributed to sustainable progress. He acknowledged the commitment of businesses to innovation and sustainability, underlining their role in fostering national economic growth while prioritizing environmental and social responsibility.

This year’s awards theme, “Innovation & Sustainability,” aims to celebrate businesses of all sizes and sectors that have demonstrated success while focusing on reshaping their strategies for a sustainable future. The event will include new categories such as the Employer of the Year Award, the Excellence in Fisheries Award, the Excellence in Forestry Award, and the Excellence in Yasana (Provincial) Aspiration Award, bringing the total to 15 categories.

Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with industry leaders, government officials, and distinguished guests, highlighting the collaborative spirit within Fiji’s business ecosystem.

The growing involvement of businesses dedicated to sustainable practices offers hope for a promising future, where economic growth aligns with environmental stewardship. As the PMIBA continues to evolve, it emphasizes the importance of innovation in driving forward meaningful change in the Fijian economy.
