Fiji’s highly anticipated Prime Minister’s International Business Awards (PMIBA) will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, celebrating and recognizing the contributions of companies and individuals shaping the nation’s economic landscape.

Organized annually, the PMIBA honors businesses that exhibit exceptional resilience, innovation, and sustainable growth, positioning Fiji prominently on the global economic map. This year’s theme, “Navigating Global Winds – Resilience, Innovation, and Sustainable Growth,” reflects the adaptability of Fijian enterprises in the face of rapidly changing international markets, especially regarding climate action, digital advancement, and inclusive development.

Kamal Chetty, CEO of Investment Fiji, highlighted that entries are still open and encouraged businesses from all sectors to apply by July 25. “We urge all businesses to seize this opportunity to be recognized at the highest national level,” he expressed, mentioning that a total of 15 categories are available, ranging from Forestry to E-Commerce, offering every sector a chance to excel.

Chetty further acknowledged the generous support from sponsors such as Fiji Water, BSP Financial Group, DHL Express, Westpac, HFC Bank, Reserve Bank of Fiji, Swire Shipping, Telecom Fiji, Vodafone Fiji, Tropik Wood Industries, and Tower Insurance, along with partners Fiji Kava and Digital Bureau. “Their continued support ensures the awards remain a beacon for recognizing and empowering Fiji’s private sector,” he added.

The PMIBA 2025 not only aims to commemorate current successes but also to highlight impactful stories of ambition and resilience that inspire future business leaders across Fiji and the broader Pacific region. This initiative serves to uplift the Fijian business landscape, igniting hopes for more robust economic growth driven by innovative and sustainable practices.
