Fiji’s Bula Boys Strengthen Squad Ahead of World Cup Qualifiers

Digicel Fiji Bula Boys head coach Rob Sherman has enhanced his roster for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Oceania Qualifiers by adding three new players. The squad now includes Leroy Jennings, a midfielder from Sydney United FC, defender Gabrieli Matanisiga from Wellington Olympic AFC, and Suva FC defender Kavaia Rawaqa, bringing the extended squad to 27 members.

Fiji finds itself in Group A of the qualifiers, competing against the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, and New Caledonia. The team is gearing up for the first round of qualifiers, which will commence on October 10 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

The 27-member squad consists of Isikeli Sevania, Samuela Kautoga, Epeli Leiroti, Ivan Kumar, Sitiveni Cavulagi, Thomas Dunn, Mohammed Raheem, Setareki Hughes, Aprosa Yada, Nabil Begg, Mosese Nabose, Tevita Waranaivalu, Merril Nand, Leroy Jennings, Sairusi Nalabu, Patrik Joseph, Atonio Tuivuna, Filipe Baravilala, Kavaia Rawaqa, Rahul Krishna, Jerome Narayan, Sterling Vasconcellos, Akuila Mataisuva, Dave Radrigai, Gabrieli Matanisiga, and Etonia Dogalau.
