Fiji’s Bula Boys Squad Unveiled: Who Made the Cut?

Fiji FACT and Battle of Giants champions Lautoka and Rewa have a strong presence in the 26-member Digicel Bula Boys squad selected for the upcoming FIFA International “A” Friendlies Tri-Nations Series in Fiji. Both teams contribute six players each to the squad.

From Lautoka, the selected players include defenders Antonio Tuivuna and Sterling Vasconcellos, midfielders Muni Shivam Naidu, Aporosa Yada, and Sitiveni Cavuilagi, along with striker Sairusi Nalaubu. Rewa’s representatives include goalkeeper Isikeli Sevanaia, defenders Ivan Kumar, Patrick Joseph, and Samuela Kautoga, as well as midfielders Tevita Waranaivalu and Setareki Hughes.

Navua has three players in the squad: Filipe Baravilala, Thomas Dunn, and Rahul Krishna, while Ba and Suva each have two players. Notably, Suva’s leading scorer, Merill Nand, has been left out of the team.

Fiji will take on the Solomon Islands National team on September 2 at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva at 7 PM, followed by a match against the Hong Kong National team on September 8 at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
