Fiji’s Bula Boys Squad Set for Exciting International Showdown!

Fiji FACT and Battle of Giants champions Lautoka and Rewa are well represented in the 26-member Digicel Bula Boys squad selected for the upcoming FIFA International “A” Friendlies Tri-Nations Series in Fiji. Each of these districts contributes six players to the lineup.

From Lautoka, defenders Antonio Tuivuna and Sterling Vasconcellos, midfielders Muni Shivam Naidu, Aporosa Yada, and Sitiveni Cavuilagi, along with striker Sairusi Nalaubu, have been chosen. Rewa has included goalkeeper Isikeli Sevanaia, defenders Ivan Kumar, Patrick Joseph, and Samuela Kautoga, alongside midfielders Tevita Waranaivalu and Setareki Hughes.

Navua features three players: Filipe Baravilala, Thomas Dunn, and Rahul Krishna, while Ba and Suva each contribute two players to the squad. Notably, the current top scorer of the DFPL, Merill Nand from Suva, has been left out of the team.

Fiji’s upcoming fixtures include a match against the Solomon Islands National team on September 2 at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva at 7 pm, followed by a game against the Hong Kong, China National team on Sunday, September 8, at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

The complete 26-member squad includes: Isikeli Sevanaia, Jerome Narayan, Akuila Mateisuva, Samuela Kautoga, Patrick Joseph, Sterling Vasconcellos, Antonio Tuivuna, Mosese Nabose, Filipe Baravilala, Ivan Kumar, Muni Shivam Naidu, Sitiveni Cavuilagi, Thomas Dunn, Mohammed Raheem, Setareki Hughes, Aporosa Yada, Nabil Begg, James Hoyt, Tevita Waranaivalu, Dave Radrigai, Sairusi Nalaubu, Etonia Dogalau, Roy Krishna, Mohammed Aymaan, Rahul Krishna, and Melvin Mani.
