Fiji’s Bula Boys Squad: A Battle of Giants Unleashed!

Fiji’s FACT and Battle of Giants champion teams, Lautoka and Rewa, are well-represented in the 26-member Digicel Bula Boys squad announced for the upcoming FIFA International “A” Friendlies Tri-Nations Series in Fiji. Each district has six players included in the roster.

From Lautoka, defenders Antonio Tuivuna and Sterling Vasconcellos, midfielders Muni Shivam Naidu, Aporosa Yada, and Sitiveni Cavuilagi, along with striker Sairusi Nalaubu, have been selected. Rewa contributes goalkeeper Isikeli Sevanaia, defenders Ivan Kumar, Patrick Joseph, and Samuela Kautoga, as well as midfielders Tevita Waranaivalu and Setareki Hughes.

Navua is represented by three players: Filipe Baravilala, Thomas Dunn, and Rahul Krishna, while Ba and Suva each have two players in the squad. A notable omission from the lineup is Merill Nand, the current top scorer in the DFPL and a marksman for Suva.

Fiji is scheduled to play against the Solomon Islands National team on September 2 at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva at 7 PM, followed by a match against the Hong Kong National team on Sunday, September 8, at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
