Fiji’s Bula Boys Ready for World Cup Challenge with Fresh Talent

Digicel Fiji Bula Boys head coach Rob Sherman has strengthened his team for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Oceania Qualifiers by adding three new players to his roster. The squad now includes Sydney United FC midfielder Leroy Jennings, Wellington Olympic AFC defender Gabrieli Matanisiga, and Suva FC defender Kavaia Rawaqa as part of an extended 27-member lineup.

Fiji is placed in Group A for the qualifiers, competing against the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, and New Caledonia. The team is gearing up for the first round of qualifiers, which will begin on October 10 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

The full 27-member squad consists of Isikeli Sevania, Samuela Kautoga, Epeli Leiroti, Ivan Kumar, Sitiveni Cavulagi, Thomas Dunn, Mohammed Raheem, Setareki Hughes, Aprosa Yada, Nabil Begg, Mosese Nabose, Tevita Waranaivalu, Merril Nand, Leroy Jennings, Sairusi Nalabu, Patrik Joseph, Atonio Tuivuna, Filipe Baravilala, Kavaia Rawaqa, Rahul Krishna, Jerome Narayan, Sterling Vasconcellos, Akuila Mataisuva, Dave Radrigai, Gabrieli Matanisiga, and Etonia Dogalau.
