The Digicel Fiji Bula Boys are in the process of finalizing their 22-member squad for the FIFA International “A” Friendlies Tri-Nations Series 2024. This series features matches between the national teams of Fiji, Hong Kong-China, and the Solomon Islands next month. The team’s manager, Kartik Reddy, reported that there are currently 26 players in camp, following the arrival of New Zealand-based Rewa utility player Samuela Kautoga.
Reddy noted that four players will be excluded from the squad, a decision that will be made by the coach this week. Once the squad is officially announced, the team will relocate to Suva for further training.
Fiji’s first match is scheduled against the Solomon Islands on Monday, September 2, at 7 pm at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva. Following that, the Solomon Islands will compete against Hong Kong-China on Thursday, September 5, also at 7 pm at the same venue. Fiji’s final match will be held against Hong Kong-China on Sunday, September 8, at 3 pm at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
Tickets are priced at $10 for adults and $5 for children under 10.
