Fiji’s Bula Boys Gear Up for Tri-Nations Showdown Without Captain Roy Krishna

Roy Krishna, captain of the Digicel Fiji Bula Boys, will not be participating in the opening match of the FIFA International “A” Friendlies Tri-Nations Series 2024 against the Solomon Islands. He is currently in India preparing for the new season of the Indian Super League with Odisha FC and is expected to rejoin the team for their second match against Hong Kong-China in Lautoka.

Team manager Kartik Reddy announced that the squad has entered the second week of preparations under head coach Rob Sherman. The training regimen includes two daily sessions, focusing on strength and conditioning in the mornings and tactical as well as technical skills in the afternoons.

Fiji will compete against the Solomon Islands on Monday, September 2, at 7 pm at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva. The Solomon Islands will subsequently face Hong Kong-China on Thursday, September 5, also at 7 pm at the same location. Fiji’s final match is scheduled against Hong Kong-China on Sunday, September 8, at 3 pm at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

Tickets are priced at $10 for adults and $5 for children under 10.
