Fiji’s Bula Boys Gear Up for Tri-Nations Showdown!

The 22-member squad for the Digicel Fiji Bula Boys is set to be finalized this week for the FIFA International “A” Friendlies Tri-Nations Series 2024, featuring Fiji, Hong Kong-China, and the Solomon Islands. Team manager Kartik Reddy mentioned that there are currently 26 players in camp, following the addition of New Zealand-based Rewa utility Samuela Kautoga.

Reddy confirmed that four players will be cut from the squad, a decision to be made by the coach this week. Once the squad is announced, the team will relocate to Suva for further training.

Fiji’s first match is scheduled against the Solomon Islands on Monday, September 2, at 7 pm at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva. The Solomon Islands will then face Hong Kong-China on Thursday, September 5, also at 7 pm at the same venue. Fiji’s final match in the series will be against Hong Kong-China on Sunday, September 8, at 3 pm at Churchill Park in Lautoka. Ticket prices are set at $10 for adults and $5 for children under 10.
