Fiji’s Bula Boys Gear Up for International Friendlies: Who Will Make the Cut?

The Digicel Fiji Bula Boys are finalizing their 22-member squad for the upcoming FIFA International “A” Friendlies Tri-Nations Series 2024, which will feature matches between Fiji, Hong Kong-China, and the Solomon Islands National teams next month. Manager Kartik Reddy announced that there are currently 26 players in training, following the addition of New Zealand-based Rewa utility Samuela Kautoga to the team.

Reddy mentioned that four players will be cut from the squad, with the decision to be made by the coach this week. After the squad is confirmed, the team will relocate to Suva for further preparations.

Fiji’s first match is set against the Solomon Islands on Monday, September 2, at 7 pm at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva. Following that, Solomon Islands will face Hong Kong-China on Thursday, September 5, also at 7 pm in the same venue. Fiji will conclude their matches against Hong Kong-China on Sunday, September 8, at 3 pm at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

Tickets for the matches are priced at $10 for adults and $5 for children under the age of 10.
