Labasa frontman Rusiate Doidoi has been selected to strengthen the Fiji National Football Team in their upcoming campaign for the MSG Prime Minister’s Cup, set to take place in the Solomon Islands. Doidoi is stepping in for Mosese Nabose from Tailevu Naitasiri, who had to withdraw due to work obligations.
Head Coach Marika Rodu expressed his optimism regarding the team, describing Doidoi’s inclusion as both timely and advantageous. “Rusiate’s addition gives us an edge in attack, and I’m confident the team will perform well in the tournament,” Rodu stated.
The Bula Boys are scheduled to depart today, with their first match against Vanuatu taking place tomorrow at 2 PM.
This timely addition could provide a crucial boost to the team as they aim for success in the tournament. It highlights the depth of talent available in Fiji’s football scene and brings hope for a strong performance from the Bula Boys.
